Kolli Hills is one of the beautiful places, situated in Namakkal District of the state of Tamil Nadu. This beautiful location is referred to as the Kolli Malai. The hills are over almost 1000 to 1300 meters in height that cover more than 280 sq. Km. You will get nearly 70 hairpin bends, which take the tourists to the top of the hill. Furthermore, the hills are actually the part of discontinuous Eastern Ghats.

Agaya Gangai Waterfalls

The Agaya Gangai Waterfalls is located in the Kolli Hills of the eastern ghats, Tamil Nadu. Originating from River Aiyaru, these falls are the 300ft fall taken by Panchanathi, the vivacious stream in the Kolli Hill jungles, specially between November-March. The waterfall is also considered sacred, not just for its natural exuberance.

Arappaleeswarar Temple

The Arapaleeswarar temple is an ancient temple built by the Chola dynasty within the famous Kolli Hills of Tamil Nadu. It is considered as a popular place of worship for Lord Shiva all over South India. The outer walls of the sanctum are covered with incsriptions that prove the contributions of the Chola kings to this temple.

Siddhar Caves

Siddhar Caves of Kolli Hills, Tamil Nadu are sacred and serene. It is said that sages lived here and grew various medicinal herbs and practised special healing practices. These herbs can still be found around the caves. On the way to the caves, you will also spot the vivacious Agaya Gangai waterfall which is famous in this region.

The boat house is a renowned tourist destination in Kolli Hills and is situated on an artificial lake about five kilometres from Vasalurpatty’s city centre. One of the must-experiences in this location is the calm lake, surrounded by the hills’ verdant greenery.
